Thoughts about Cyber Relationships

Published by admin on April 23, 2008

Now that the internet is the primary mode of communication around the globe, the internet has found to be important in so many aspects of our lives. We can now shop online, build businesses online, study through online classes and even build friendships and relationships through it.

Sometimes, even though you are not looking for someone to share “something” with, it may still strike you especially when you meet someone who shares the same experiences, values and thoughts. Cyber relationships – do they really work? How about the foundation of the relationship, is the foundation built in front of the monitor strong enough to make things work?

People who are wishing that their Mr. or Ms. Right can be found somewhere at the other side of the world are those who usually engage themselves in cyber relationships. Accidents do happen and are unavoidable; however, how many percent of chances are there to meet someone who will take a relationship seriously with just a communication through the internet? Chances – unsure and unpredictable.

Cyber relationships are worthless until both parties decide to take things more seriously and go offline – a venue that can test whether the relationship will actually work or not. Truth and lies – you cannot actually differentiate them when you are just having your communication online. Love is deeper than challenge and mystery.

There is nothing wrong about cyber relationships. People who want to engage or are already engaged in it however, should weigh things first before something hurtful and unmanageable happens.

The Benefits of H2O

When we are young, we are often told to drink at least eight glasses of water a day to be healthy. As a kid then, following commands from elders is a must so I really drink the required number of glasses. And now that I am several years older, this health tip still pushes me to drink eight to ten glasses of water everyday.

Excessive loss of water in the body or Dehydration is something that can be detrimental to us and of course sufficient supply water is the only solution for this. Dehydration affects the activities of the different parts of our bodies like problems with thinking, concentration and balance; it can even alter blood flow.

Aside from keeping us away from dehydration, here are some of the reasons why drinking sufficient water a day makes us healthy.

  • It enables our internal organs to function properly
  • It keeps our skin clean, fresh and even free from blemishes
  • It has zero calories and can control our weight
  • Increases our energy to do activities
  • Regulates body temperature
  • Keeps the immune system healthy thus keeping us away from different illnesses
  • Removes unwanted toxins and wastes in our body
  • And most of all maintains our overall health

From the time drinking sufficient water everyday became a part of my daily routine, colds, cough and infections cannot even get close to me. Water may sometimes give a blank taste but because of the several health benefits it gives, I just tell myself: Bottoms up!
