Ordinary Thursday

Published by admin on November 7, 2009

Like any ordinary Thursday night, I did not get enough sleep again last night because I had to attend to some chores scheduled for the said day. Being a working mom is no easy job because balancing all the responsibilities I have is a must. I stayed up til 2am for our weekly laundry then I cleaned the house as I wait for the dryer to finish. If not for my eye cream, my eye bags may have been bigger and darker, making me look stressed and old. Sigh! Good thing today is Friday and tomorrow’s gonna be a weekend, a perfect day to relax with my family.

Inspired by the Furniture

I went to visit my fiancé in his office this morning to bring some special gift for our anniversary. I waited for his lunch break and stayed in the lobby for about half an hour. As I sat down their couch, I was fascinated with the different office furniture combined to perfection in the lobby. Because of this, I had the idea of shopping for new furniture for the place where we will move in to after the wedding. I got really excited that I even shared my thoughts to my fiancé over our lunch date.

Perfectly Planned Vacation

My aunt will be arriving before Christmas in time for my wedding. She is an avid fan or coffee and she wants it brewed to perfection. Since here at home, nobody drinks coffee, we would need to take a look at the coffee makers in the stores and buy one for her. She hasn’t visited us since 2004 and we want to make sure she’ll make the most out of her visit this year. From the coffee she will drink in the morning to the places we will head to during her vacation, we will all plan them and enjoy them with her!

Shop To-Go

We went to China last year and I can never forget the store that offers work gloves for unbelievably cheap prices. Shopping during travel really makes me happy because it makes me forget the tire and stresses of hopping from one place to another and doing almost every activity offered in the place. I shop for chocolates, perfumes, clothes and jewelry. Whatever is cheap and available, I make sure I grab at least one so I can keep something to remind me of the day or days I had in the place.
