Binocular for Outdoors

I am planning to buy a binocular for my husband this Christmas because he is finding new love for mountain hiking and camping. I know that a binocular is a great tool that he could use for his outdoor activities. Maybe, a few years for now, I will also buy one for our son for their summer camp or for a family weekend getaway that everyone in the family will look forward to.
